FAQ

What is an elected adult representative?

The prerequisite for choosing an adult representative oneself is that the individual does not have sufficient decision-making capacity to establish an advance power of attorney but understands the significance and consequences of authorization. Thus, there must be diminished decision-making capacity. In this case, an adult representative can be chosen independently if another person is not already entrusted with representation.
