FAQ

How are the costs of the procedure calculated and who has to bear them?

The principle of cost self-sufficiency also applies in the administrative offense procedure. In every penalty decision, it must be stated that the convicted person has to contribute to the costs of the procedure. This contribution amounts to 10% of the imposed penalty, but at least EUR 10.

If the procedure is dismissed, the costs of the procedure are to be borne or refunded by the authority.
