GDPR
General
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and comply with the applicable legal data protection regulations, particularly the Data Protection Act (DSG), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Telecommunications Act (TKG), as well as this data protection declaration.
What is personal data?
Personal data is information about data subjects (natural persons) whose identity is or can be identified. Examples of such data are name, date of birth, address, e-mail address, telephone number, gender, social security number, but also photos, video recordings and biometric data such as fingerprints. Sensitive data such as health data or data relating to criminal proceedings may also be included.
Processing and use of personal data
We collect, process and use your personal data only if there is a legal basis in accordance with the GDPR or only with your consent or assignment for the purposes agreed with you. We will only process data that is necessary for the execution and handling of our legal services or that you have voluntarily provided me us.
If you contact us via the contact form on our website, by telephone, e-mail or fax, we will process the personal data you provide (title, name, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number as well as any other data disclosed and any documents and certificates transmitted) for the purpose of processing your inquiry. We will process these data for the purpose of fulfilling (pre-)contractual obligations or on the basis of legitimate interests.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) may have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Transfer of personal data
In order to fulfill your request, it may also be necessary to forward your data to third parties (e.g. opposing party, substitutes, insurance companies, service providers I use and to whom I make data available, etc.) or to courts or authorities. Your data will be forwarded exclusively on the basis of the GDPR, in particular to fulfill your order or on the basis of your prior consent.
Within the scope of our legal representation, it is also regularly necessary to obtain factual and case-related information from third parties. All this is done in accordance with the relevant data protection regulations.
