FAQ

Can a person be represented by both a judicial and a legal adult representative?

Yes, that is also possible. Thus, different representation models may be considered for individual matters. It should be noted that in the case of representation by multiple adult representatives, they may only be used for different scopes of authority. Double representation for the same area is therefore not permitted. An exception to this overlapping prohibition is the appointment of an interim adult representative, who can be appointed for the same scope of authority as an already appointed representative.

In practice, the appointment of a single representative is the norm, not least because it is more practical for the represented person.
