FAQ

How is the elected adult representation established?

A written agreement must be concluded in person between the affected person and the desired adult representative before a notary, lawyer, or adult protection association. The agreement can extend to individual matters or specific types of matters. In particular, it can be stipulated that the represented person can only act in agreement with the representative, or vice versa, that the representative can only act in agreement with the represented person.

The agreement must be registered again in the ÖZVV to become valid.
