FAQ

What is a declaratory judgment action?

The action for declaratory judgment serves to establish whether a certain right or legal relationship exists between the parties or whether a document is genuine or non-genuine, i.e. whether it originates from the issuer. The prerequisite for such a declaratory action is that the plaintiff has a legal interest in an early determination by the court—in other words, there must be a current reason for clarifying the disputed legal relationship.
