FAQ

What is an action for modification of legal rights?

The purpose of actions for modification of legal rights is to establish, amend or dissolve legal relationships. The essential difference to the action for a declaratory judgment is that not only is it determined whether a legal relationship exists, but a new legal situation is also created by the judgment. Examples of such actions include actions for divorce or actions to challenge legal transactions in the event of a lack of will.
