FAQ

What is the compulsory portion?

Although the testator can in principle freely dispose of the assets on the basis of the freedom to make a will, the right to a compulsory portion ensures that certain relatives receive a share of the estate. By law, these persons are entitled to the so-called compulsory portion, unless this is already covered by a gift on death or a gift inter vivos.
