What costs will I be reimbursed for if I have to testify as a witness in court?

As a witness, you are entitled to compensation for witness fees—i.e. necessary travel and accommodation expenses and, in the event of loss of earnings, compensation for time missed. In this context, the witness may apply for an appropriate advance payment.
