When must fault or grounds for divorce be asserted?

The marital misconduct must be asserted within six months from the date of knowledge. In the case of continued misconduct, the period begins to run from the time when the misconduct ceased. However, there is also an absolute limitation period of 10 years, after which a divorce based on this ground is no longer possible.
